Saturday, May 30, 2009. I am simply amazed at how busy it's been around here! I know I promised to keep up on my blog better but obviously that's not happened! Oh well, all I can say is I'll try! The girls are glad to be out of school. Their last few days were so fun. for all of us! Meanwhile, Hannah got her hands sticky in the bubbles! Did you know you could make bubbles with your hands? Where has this mama been? That same day, Marlie's class went to a local park for 3rd grade olympics. What a hoot!

Real life. No drama. Have You Met Tank? If you don't know Tank, let me introduce you. Tank is a tortoise. But I guess you could tell. She belongs to our neighbor. Tank is not a boy but a girl. She had been named Tank when they thought she was a he and they decided to keep Tank as her name. Tank likes to visit her neighbors. She gets around and is remarkably fast for a tortoise. She likes to visit us and eat our weeds. And that's a good thing. We have lots of weeds for her to feed on. And her name is Tank.

Real life. No drama. I don't know why I have a fascination with train tracks, but I do. Yesterday my Mother-in-Law went to Varnville for some business and while she was busy, I took a walk to the tracks. In Varnville, they have Palmetto trees running parallel to the tracks. A professional photographer that I follow gave out an exercise which entailed putting your camera on ground level and taking a shot. So I decided to give it a try. I like train tracks but I'm not very versed in train track vocabulary.
