Tuesday, July 9, 2013. The Mystery of the Paw Print Boxes. We did have a big of intrigue surrounding Syd's birthday. It all started when 6 large boxes with a puppy paw print arrived on the doorstep. The kids piled them in the den and wondered and imagined what was in the boxes and who could have sent them. Ethan was convinced a real dog was inside. Syd was convinced the good "birthday" fairy had mailed her lots of wonderful toys and Mikelle and Logan were just dying to open those boxes. One Day at a Time.

Tuesday, February 28, 2012. E Shows Off a Little WT. So I pick E up from his play date at Max's house. They had been playing outside and E's face was a little flushed. I'm driving down the road and he says, "Mommy. This shirt is too hot! I told him that as soon as we got home he could put on another shirt. Well, apparently, he decided not to wait. At the next stoplight I looked in the rear view mirror and had to do a double-take. There he was, chilling in his car seat, with his shirt OFF! My I did it.

Thursday, January 31, 2013. Up Close and Personal. My new i-phone 5 is officially off limits to the kids. But I had to laugh when I found these photos on it the other day. I didn't even know that sneaky guy got to it! Last Saturday night, Sydney and Dan had a little date and went to the Daddy-daughter Sock Hop sponsored by the local girl scouts. Syd loved dancing, laughing and having her picture taken with her dad. But she reported the best part. Of the evening was- the dessert. Monday, January 21, 2013.

Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Finally, Ethan is old enough to play tee-ball! He's been waiting for this ever since he could vocalize that he wanted to play baseball- just like Logan. Who knows how many hundreds of games he's watched his big brother play? At last, it's his turn. On the day of his first game, they needed to be at the field at 5:30. 1:07 and Ethan is dressed and ready to go. The league is actually called fun ball. Each child gets a chance to hit from the tee. Then they run to first base.

Wednesday, August 5, 2015. My friend, Elizabeth, made a "30 before 30" list. One of the items to check off was hiking a "14er." She was such a good friend and let me check this off with her-I loved every minute of it! Colorado has 50 mountains with summits over 14,000 ft. Hence the nickname, 14er.
